Supports many users

Multiple users can participate in video, audio, and real-time text chat simultaneously. Since Flexchat works with the flash player, there’s no need to install additional client side software.

Multi-rooms

Supports multi-rooms, which allows users to split into groups of interest. Users can easily toggle between the rooms.

Toggle video and audio on or off

Users can choose if they want to broadcast their camera and audio to the group. They can also turn other users video and audio feeds on or off.

Insert phrases from pattern

To speed up communication, Users can create a library of their common phrases, which can then be selected by pointing and clicking with the mouse.

Personal profiles

Users can create optional personal profiles, which include birthdate, address, email, description, gender, website, and spoken languages. Users can also upload a personal avatar, or choose one from a gallery.

Private chat

Create private chats with other users. Toggle between private chats and the group chat windows.

Rich formatting of text

Each user can individually customize the font, font-size, color and style of their outgoing messages.

Multi-language support

Users can select from a list of languages.

Private rooms

Administrator can create private chat rooms for specific groups of users to conduct private interviews. Access to these rooms is possible only with a password. Unwanted users cannot enter a closed room.

Administration panel

Through the administration panel, the administrator can monitor users, access databases, moderate chat, add and delete rooms, add languages, edit the avatar gallery, set audio and video options and create password protected rooms.

Block users

Each user can block any unwanted users by adding them to their block list.

Keep a record of the chat history

Flexchat keeps a database of all public chat messages. Histories of private chats are not saved.

Smilies

Users can better express their emotions with smilies. Flexchat comes with over 50 animated smilies.

Indicator status

Users can let other users know their status in the chat.

Editor avatars

Each user will be able to change their avatar by selecting from the available gallery or uploading their own photo.

Window scaling

The flexchat windows and interface supports all modern monitor resolutions.

Advertising support

Administrators can broadcast advertising directly into the group text chat window. Advertising may also be directed groups, such as to only women or to only men.
